Mini PCs & Handhelds
Compact computing, performance, thermals, upgrades and real-world usability.
Hands-on technology research, learning, testing and experimentation โ from compact PCs and handhelds to components, software and practical digital engineering.
Practical investigation of modern and reusable technology, with a focus on learning by doing and documenting what we discover.
Compact computing, performance, thermals, upgrades and real-world usability.
CPUs, GPUs, RAM, storage, motherboards, power and component-level experimentation.
Networking equipment, phones, tablets, development hardware and connected technology.
Operating systems, configuration, performance tuning, testing and practical digital engineering.
We are interested in usable or repairable technology that can support genuine hands-on research and learning.
Mini PCs, laptops, desktops and handheld PCs.
CPUs, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, storage, boards and power supplies.
Networking equipment, phones, tablets, docks and accessories.
Development boards, test equipment and other suitable experimental technology.
Where equipment is suitable for reuse beyond our own research needs, our aim is to pass it on to charities, less fortunate families, children and individuals who genuinely need access to technology โ particularly people in circumstances similar to those we are trying to support. The goal is simple: keep usable technology helping real people rather than selling it for profit.
Before reuse, storage media will be handled through an appropriate data-sanitisation process. Equipment that cannot responsibly be reused will be dealt with through appropriate recycling routes.
Learning through practical experimentation, testing and documentation.
Keeping usable technology in productive use and helping reduce unnecessary electronic waste.
Being clear about what we have, what we test and where suitable equipment ultimately goes.
